Relevant officials of the National Development and Reform Commission said that the Beijing-tianjin-hebei, Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong-hong Kong-macao Bay area are important urban agglomerations and metropolitan areas in China, and that the development of a modern and comprehensive transportation network with rail transportation as its backbone, the conditions are ripe and the demand is urgent.
